Upper Smoky Hill Member ('Smoky Hill Chalk') of the Niobrara Formation; probably above the Uintacrinus socialis Zone (possibly somewhere between Clioscaphites choteauensis to Desmoscaphites bassleri Zone; = Division G of Miller 1968), upper Santonian.
