• Author states: "Since TTQ produces the late Barstovian Land Mammal Age (LMA) horse (Megahippus mckennai), antelope (Merycodus) and canid (Cynarctus, lg.) the age of the accumulation may be as young as the Lapilli Tuff (13.4 Ma).

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; lithology not reported

• TTQ is in a paleosol within a thick fluvial sediment that overlies wetland mudstone

•and undated volcanic tuffs.
