Environment/lithology: terrestrial; bioturbated, paleosol/pedogenic, fine-grained, nodular, silty sandstone and medium-grained, red sandstone

• "above trough cross-bedded, medium-grained, mauve sandstones and within a finer-grained facies composed of very fine-grained, silty sandstone and siltstones that often display palaeopedogenic alteration features such as mottling, bioturbation, desiccation cracks and pedogenic nodules."
