• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: From the Timms Point Silt, which is locally overlain by the San Pedro Sand; it is possible that this is infact from the San Pedro Sand. AGE: Lower Pleistocene in Woodring et al. (1946) and Valentine PhD, but is now regarded as Middle Pleistocene [A. Hendy]. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From Unit 1 (?) of Timms Point Silt.

Environment/lithology: offshore; poorly lithified siltstone

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: original aragonite, original calcite
