• "The fossils from this locality occur in the ‘torbiditi d’Aupa’ Formation and have a late Anisian (Illyrian) age (Dalla Vecchia 2006c). They were found in different outcrops of the ‘torbiditi d’Aupa’ located along the Aupa Torrent near the village of Saps and the confluence of the Dell’Andri Brook (sites 1-6 of Dalla Vecchia 2006c, plus sites 7-8 of Dalla Vecchia 2010). Other two sites (9-10) were found after 2010"

• "The main outcrop is site 6, made of large boulders cropping out from the bed and bank of the water streams just downstream respect to the aqueduct building placed at the confluence of the Dell’Andri Brook and the Torrent Aupa."
