• Cortés et al. 2019: CIP-0001 was preserved in a calcareous concretion of the Arcillolitas Abigarradas Mem- ber, which is the middle of the three units of the Paja For- mation (Etayo-Serna, 1968, 1979). Several ammonites were preserved in association with CIP-0001, including Gerhardtia Hyatt, 1903 from the upper Barremian (ca. 128 Ma) H. (G.) veleziensis ammonite zone (cf. Ogg et al., 2012: fig. 27.6; Fig. 1.5).
