• Chronostratigraphically they are considered middle Ilerdian inage.

Environment/lithology: gray, argillaceous, sandy limestone

• The sedimentary environment was interpreted by Pallf (1972) as a shallow shelf facies.
• the sediments are grey to dark grey marly limestones, some what sandy, and assignable to the Sagnari Formation
