•The specimen comes from the outcrop of the Chorrillo Formation (lower Maastrichtian; Moyano-Paz et al., 2022). The age of this locality has been revised in Moyano-Paz et al., 2022.
•The Chorrillo Formation in Argentina is correlated to the nearby and coeval Dorotea Formation in Chile.
