When: Nanisivik Formation (Uluksan Group), Stenian (1200.0 - 1000.0 Ma)
• Formerly assigned to the Society Cliffs Formation, which was separated into four units by Turner (2009). Based on the mapped location, this collection belongs to the Nanisivik Formation. The age of the former Society Cliffs Formation is constrained by Re-Os dating of the underlying Arctic Bay Formation (1.048 +/- 0.012 Ga) and the overlying Victor Bay Formation (1.046 +/- 0.016 Ga) in Gibson et al., 2017.
