• The age is constrained by an U-Pb SHRIMP age of 1648 +/- 3 from the overlying Tatoola Formation, while units correlative with the underlying Mallapunyah Formation yielded U-Pb SHRIMP ages between 1658 and 1652 Ma with uncertainties of 3-7 Myr (Page et al., 2000).
