• most core material consists of thick reefal limestone of the Asbeck Member overlain by coarse debris correlating with the Eisborn Member, (hemi)pelagic limestones of the Beul Formation followed by the locally argillaceous Hemberg Formation

Environment/lithology: lagoonal or restricted shallow subtidal; bindstone

• indication of intertidal conditions, a shallow lagoon with permanent influence of waves and currents
• laminated, fenestrate bindstone, alternation with peloidal pack- or grainstone layers and parathuramminid and microbial micrite layers;
