When: Dajialian Formation, Anisian (247.2 - 242.0 Ma)
• Upper Dajialian Formation. The top c. 15-20 m of the limestone unit is highly fossiliferous, and the brachiopod specimens are preserved as carbonate shells. Below those bioclastic limestones are micrites intercalated with cherty layers. Specimens with silicified shells including brachiopods and bivalves are common in this part of the Dajialian Formation.
