Where: Nunavut, Canada (75.3° N, 95.0° W: paleocoordinates 0.7° N, 29.9° W)

When: Polygnathoides siluricus conodont zone, A Member (Read Bay Formation), Ludfordian (425.6 - 423.0 Ma)

Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; green mudstone and wackestone

• The occurrence of numerous corals and pelmatozoans suggests a subtidal environment.
• Most of the trilobite specimens (from GSC localities 95229-32, 95234-35) occurred in richly fossiliferous limestones, predominantly mudstones and wackestones. Traction current structures are very rare in these units.
