Environment/lithology: lithified, shelly/skeletal, gray packstone

• Most of the brachiopod shells are articulated, pointing to a moderate energy level. The position of the Turkey Creek sediments with respect to an ancient strandline cannot be determined on the basis of this single, small outcrop.
• Light-gray skeletal limestone, dominantly a pelmatozoan sparite.
