Environment/lithology: lithified, argillaceous limestone

• The color of the limestones ranges from light grey to bluish grey and light brown. The limestones also contain pyrite, either in the form of small nodules or disseminated. Upon weathering, this presence gives a reddish-brown to ocher color to the rock.
