•"The samples were processed using normal palynological techniques of HCl; HF; HNO3; short centrifugation with soapy water to remove fines; heavy liquid separation using a ZnCl2 liquid of 1.8 s.g.; staining with Bismarck brown; and screening on 10 µm sieves.
