Environment/lithology: brown limestone and siltstone

• Environmental call by T. Hanson.
• Brownish sublithographic beds alternating with shaly limestone to limy siltstone. "The purer limestone beds, which make up between 50% and 80% of the rock, are from 1 cm to 15 cm thick, usually about 5 cm, and are locally partly laminated. The shalier beds are commonly laminated, and from 1 to 4 cm thick. Bedding surfaces are often uneven."
