Environment/lithology: deep subtidal; phosphatic, black, argillaceous limestone

• Dominantly benthic, soft mud-bottom fauna, possibly caught and buried in a turbidity flow.
• Black, thinly bedded and argillaceous limestones with abundant small, phosphatic pellets. Commonly shows graded bedding.
