Environment/lithology: marine; mudstone

• Shells commonly articulated and matrix muddy; authors therefore infer quiet water. High diversity, large body size, and absence of BA 4 and deeper taxa used to infer BA 3. See PBDB collections 25725-25731 for fauna of underlying beds.
