• Except where otherwise stated, ref. 7624 uses Lower Silurian as equivalent to Llandovery, Middle Silurian as equivalent to Wenlock, and Upper Silurian as equivalent to Ludlow plus Pridoli. "Spathognathodus crispus occurs in the lower part of the Miaokao Fm. Therefore, we correlate the M. Fm. with the Late Ludlow." It's not clear from the correlation chart whether this is Ludfordian in the strict sense.
