• Beaverfoot-Brisco name is a "mongrel" name but the best authors could do. Authors also unsure exactly of unit age, claiming "late Late Ordovician or early Llandovery."

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, cherty/siliceous dolomite

• According to strat column: siliceous dolomite.
