Environment/lithology: marine; gray limestone and calcareous sandstone

• "Occurs in gray limestones and fine-grained, dense, sandy, calcareous concretions (about 20cm diameter) in gray, fine-grained feldspathic sandstones. The brachiopods are articulated. The fine-grained, terrigenous sediment accumulated far from shoreline in what was a quiet water, BA4-5 environment (as in the Lithuanian Silurian)."
