• Undivided Djebel Tebaga Biohermal Complex. In other areas it is divided into Lower and Upper Biohermal Complexes, separated by the Middle Shaly Facies. 35 metres thick. Base of Baten beni Zid Formation of other authors.

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; lithified, brown, yellow limestone and brown, gray, blue limestone

• Bioherm complex; lower part tan and vuggy; upper part more uniformly resistant, ridge forming, grayish brown to bluish gray.
