When: upper Member (Koujiacun Formation), Serravallian (13.8 - 11.6 Ma)
• MN6, Early Middle Miocene, Astaracian, Tunggurian, Tongxin local fauna. The Koujiacun Formation is a set of tan-red or tan-yellow mudstones, sandy mudstones and sandstones. Approximately 60m thick. There are two fossiliferous members, the upper unit has purple-red and tan-red mudstones.

Collection methods: Lagomeryx originally published by Young (1964). The faunal lists in Qiu (1990) and Chiu et al. (1979) are a conflation of all 4 localities in the Koujiacun Formation. Each locality has been entered separately here.
