When: Log Cabin Member (Pioche Shale Formation), St Davids (509.0 - 497.0 Ma)

• From middle of Log Cabin Member, within Poliella denticulata Biozone. Probably correlates to Delamaran stage. Early Middle Cambrian in age. The Highland Range has one of the thickest and most complete sections of the Log Cabin Member. The lower 30 m consists of mudstone.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

• The Log Cabin Member is part of a fourth or fifth order cycle bounded by erosional surfaces. The overall lithostratigraphic package shown by the Log Cabin Member is of a coarsening and shallowing upward succession, consistent with a highstand systems tract deposit.
• Bioturbated, silty, dusky yellow mudstone.
