• 9.5 cm thick bed at the base of the Taquaral Member. The fossiliferous bed lies in erosional disconformity upon sandstones of the Tatuí Formation, which are penetrated locally by irregular, narrow tubular ichnofossils filled by sediment from the fossiliferous bed.
