Environment/lithology: fluvial; sandstone and paleosol/pedogenic, concretionary, sandy, conglomeratic mudstone

• "The strata consists of alternating sandstones and mudstones, which represent channel and floodplain deposits respectively, with the majority of the eggs associated with calcareous paleosols." Eggs from paleosols: "The paleosols are pale to red, composed of carbonate-rich mudstone, sandy mudstone and pebbly mudstone...pedogenic calcrete nodules...dessication cracks..."
