• 100 ft thick siltstone below bed 1 near base of section; from Polyptychites (Tollia) cf. tolli biozone; classified as "upper member" of "lower shale-siltstone division" in Jeletzky (1958); Jeletzky (1958) assigns this biozone a Berriasian age.
