• 20 ft thick shale and siltstone, 61-66.5 ft above the base of the section; assigned to the Aucella okensis biozone; classified as "Lower Mbr" of the "lower shale-siltstone division" in Jeletzky (1958); Jeletzky (1958) assigns this unit a Berriasian age.
