Where: Scotland, United Kingdom (57.6° N, 6.1° W: paleocoordinates 47.0° N, 4.5° E)
• coordinate stated in text
• small collection-level geographic resolution
When: Lonfearn Member (Lealt Shale Formation), Middle Bathonian (167.7 - 164.7 Ma)
• BEd 27, about 5 m below top of formation
• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: lagoonal; lime mudstone
•Jagielska et al. 2022: The skeleton was embedded in a well-sorted lagoonal bioclastic limestone (rich in Neomiodon, ostracods, and conchostracans), which overlies and infills dinosaur trackways impressed in subaerially exposed mudstones. These units formed in a marginal marine/nearshore environment that fluctuated between submerged and exposed.
Size class: macrofossils
• Neomiodon, ostracods, and conchostracans
Preservation: cast, trace, replaced with phosphate
Collected by J. Andrews, J. Hudson & S. Wood in 1982-Aug 1983
Collection methods: surface (float),
• found June 1982 by J. Andrews & J. Hudson; collected August 1983 by S. P. Wood
•Jagielska et al. 2022: specimen was discovered by A.P. in 2017
