• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Belmont Formation, which lies between the Walsingham Fm (Early-Middle Pleistocene) and the Devonshire Fm (Late Pleistocene). THICKNESS: Unknown thickness of unit AGE: Shells are radiometrically dated to 300 Ka. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Unknown position with unit.

Environment/lithology: foreshore; poorly lithified, calcareous sandstone

• ENVIRONMENT: Shallow-marine, beach, and dune.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Complex shallow-marine, beach, and poorly developed dune calcarenites. LITHIFICATION: Poorly lithified, presumed based on age and facies description (poorly developed, calcarenite).
