When: Judith River Formation, Late/Upper Campanian (83.5 - 70.6 Ma)

• The fossils were found as "float" in the lower threee to five feet of the eroded exposure and also in situ in a rust-coloured sandy lens approximately four inches in thickness. The zone in general is a tan to ligth buff sandy stratified sediment.
