Svartenhuk Halvo Locality 6-932 (Pleistocene of Greenland)

Also known as GCI 74-932

Where: Greenland (71.5° N, 55.4° W: paleocoordinates 71.5° N, 55.4° W)

• coordinate stated in text

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Late/Upper Pleistocene (0.1 - 0.0 Ma)

• no formation given-reaching altitudes of 35 m above sea level

• formation-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: deltaic; unlithified, pebbly siliciclastic sediments

• The sites represent raised spits cuspate forelands and deltas/alluvial cones.
• Lithologically the sites consist of littoral gravel and sublittoral mud. It is possible that these diamictons are glaciomarine sediments but they may also represent solifluctuation deposits.
