• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Fort Thompson Fm, which is in this section overlain by the Pamlico Fm (Late Pleistocene) and overlies the Caloosahatchee Fm (Early Pleistocene). AGE: Assigned to Late Pleistocene (A. Hendy, 2007). STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From Unit 5 a 10 ft thick sandy marl.

Environment/lithology: coastal; poorly lithified, medium-grained, shelly/skeletal, sandy marl

• ENVIRONMENT: Shallow marine, siliciclastic.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Marl, sandy, calcareous, slightly consolidated, quartz grains medium, subangular to rounded. LITHIFICATION: Poorly-lithified, based on facies description.
