• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Clayton Fm of the Midway Group. AGE: Early Paleocene. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From unknown position in Clayton Fm.

Environment/lithology: marine; poorly lithified lithology not reported

• ENVIRONMENT: Not stated, but probably shallow shelf setting. Clayton elsewhere range from just below storm wavebase, is dominantly offshore transition, with some shoreface and perhaps foreshore (Schulte & Speijer, 2009).
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Unknown. Much of the formation is composed of calcareous sandstones, but also marls and sandy packstones. LITHIFICATION: Poorly lithified based on figured specimen.
