Environment/lithology: open shallow subtidal; lithified limestone

• ENVIRONMENT: Shallow marine. Sedimentology and ostracod faunas suggest infralittoral/epineritic, occasionally hypersaline, environment.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Unknown lithology. Formation composed of interbedded marls and shelly calcarenites. LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of figured specimens.
