• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Zeven wegen Chalk, the lowermost member of the Gulpen Fm, and is overlain by the Beutenaken Chalk. The Terstraeten Sand of the upper Vaals Formation underlies the unit. AGE: Latest Campanian, on the basis of ammonite and belemnite biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Collection is a composite of the entire member.
