• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Bearpaw [Shale] Formation, which overlies the Late Campanian Oldman Formation (brackish to non-marine), andis overlain by the Eastend Fm (Maastrichtian). AGE: Late Campanian on the basis of ammonite (and other groups) biostratigraphy; Baculites compressus biozone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From Arctica bed, about middle of Bearpaw Fm.
