The Terstraeten Sand of the upper Vaals Formation underlies the unit. AGE: Latest Campanian, on the basis of ammonite and belemnite biostratigraphy; Bostrychoceras polyplocum zone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From unknown position within formation.
