Where: Slovakia (48.7° N, 17.5° E: paleocoordinates 30.6° N, 26.0° E)

• coordinate based on nearby landmark

• small collection-level geographic resolution

When: Pieniny Limestone Formation, Early/Lower Hauterivian (136.4 - 130.0 Ma)

• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Pieniny Limestone, which is unconformably (fault contact) overlain by the Konhora Fm. AGE: Late Hauterivian, on the basis of calpionellid, ammonite, nannofossil, dinoflagellate, foram and radiolarian biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Presumably from higher in section than level 1 and lower than level 3.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: deep subtidal; lithified, gray, blue, argillaceous limestone

• ENVIRONMENT: Deep-water marine carbonate, based on previously entered collections from same unit.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Grey to blue-grey clayey limestones. LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of figured specimens.
