• "Biostratigraphically, the find can be attributed to Boy's Leptorophus humbergensis-Apateon caducus association. This association is part of the Apateon caducus group and has an upper 'Autunian' age. This corresponds to the lower Sakmarian of international stratigraphy"

•The Jeckenbach Subformation, however, is of Asselian age according to "Stratigraphische Tabelle von Deutschland 2002"
