• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From unknown lithostratigraphic unit. AGE: Late Campanian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Sandy shales stratigraphically 50-40 ft above the basal conglomerate.

Environment/lithology: coastal; lithified, sandy shale

• ENVIRONMENT: No environmental reported. Presumably shallow-water siliciclastic marine.
