• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Kajisako Fm, which overlies the Nagase Fm. AGE: Late Turonian, on the basis of ammonite, inoceramid, and radiolarian biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From the upper lithostratigraphic unit in regional section; middle part of Kajisako Fm.
