• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Gislöv Fm, which unconformably overlies the Rispebjerg Sandstone, and is overlain by the Alum Shale. AGE: Late Atdabanian, on the basis of trilobite biostratigraphy; Holmia kjerulfi trilobite zone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From bed D in local stratigraphic section.

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, pyritic, gray, silty shale

• ENVIRONMENT: Marine siliciclastic setting.
