• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Amdeh Fm, which overlies the Hijam Dolomite Fm, and is overlain by the Saiq Fm. AGE: ?Dapingian–early Darriwilian, Middle Ordovician; on the basis of chitinozoans; placed in Arenig to avoid orphaning. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From the Am4 member.
