• small collection-level geographic resolution

When: Olenekian (251.2 - 247.2 Ma)

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: basinal (); lithified phosphorite and lithified siltstone

• phosphatic nodule in grey siltstone

Size class: microfossils

Collection methods: chemical,

• Phosphatic nodules were collected from each stratigraphic level, then treated with a solution of c. 30% HNO3 and 30% H2O2 on a hotplate at 80–100°C for 1–7 days. Residues were accumulated without using a sieve and rinsed gently with tap water more than 10 times.

•Radiolaria were handpicked under a binocular microscope for observation by a scanning electron microscope (SEM).
