Type specimen: UMMP 44723, a shell. Its type locality is Loc. 61-106, Cuenca de Francisco [Indidura Fm], which is in an Albian marine horizon in the Cuesta del Cura Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Loc. 61-106, Cuenca de Francisco [Indidura Fm]
