Type specimen: H. J. Siber collection, Aathal, a partial skeleton (skull and vertebrae). Its type locality is Aguada de Lomas, which is in a Tortonian foreshore siltstone in the Pisco Formation of Peru.
Distribution: found only at Aguada de Lomas
