Type specimen: 15879. Its type locality is Nokkosi-saka, west of Takada-machi, Kese-gun, Iwate Prefecture, which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in Japan.

Distribution: found only at Nokkosi-saka, west of Takada-machi, Kese-gun, Iwate Prefecture
