Type specimen: NN99023, a forewing (complete well-preserved forewing). Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 1999 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 1999 collection)
